Saturday Night at Tallowood
Each Saturday Night, we meet to study the Bible, worship the Lord Jesus Christ, and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Our schedule:
- Bible Study at 5:00 p.m.
- Worship at 6:10 p.m.
- "Second Saturday" dinner at 7:15 p.m. (second Saturday of each month)
Bible Study
Each Saturday at 5:00 p.m., we have Bible Study classes for all age groups. Our adults meet in a group, while our college students, youth, and children all meet in groups appropriate for their age. Join us as we explore God's Word!
Worship
Our Saturday night worship service meets at 6:10 p.m. and combines contemporary worship songs, traditional church hymns, and responsive readings. Worship is lead by Dave and Jessica Ray, using their God-given gifts to lead the congregation in worshipping our Lord.
Our pastor, Dr. Duane Brooks, proclaims the gospel through preaching.
Second Saturday
On the second Saturday of each month, we meet after Worship Service for our Second Saturday dinner. Everything's provided -- we just need you!
Dinner is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children 12 and under. (Maximum $20 per family.)
LifeLink Groups
Acts 2:42 tells us of the early church: "They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellow- ship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." We believe that growing closer to our brothers and sisters is important to our growth in Christ. LifeLink groups provide the opportunity to do just that: we meet in individual homes, twice monthly, to study, fellowship, and share with a smaller group of believers.

Missions
Tallowood's heart for our community, our city, and our world compels us to provide for not only the physical needs of those suffering, but the spiritual needs of those who do not know Christ. This effort works hand-in-hand with our Worship In Action emphasis.
