Preschool Ministry
At the beginning of life itself, Tallowood offers a chance to grow and learn in a safe setting where trained teachers share God’s love and teach Bible truths to preschoolers.
Visiting Tallowood? Have a preschooler?
Tallowood offers great Bible Studies for preschoolers and Kindergartners during the 10:00 hour. Extended Teaching Care is provided for children 3 years (as of 9/1/11) during both 8:45 and 11:15 worship hours. If your child was 4 by September 1, 2011, they will attend worship with you. You can find us in the first floor lobby of the West Tower. A greeter at the Welcome Center would be glad to help you and your child find the right room for your child. See you Sunday!

We want you to know that Tallowood has a very important commitment to you and your preschooler. We are committed to providing the very best in care and education for your child through our Preschool Ministry. It is our goal to support you as parents so that we can work together to lay the foundations of your child’s spiritual development. We welcome your help, your questions, and your suggestions. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the Preschool guidelines outlined in this booklet.

Little Blessings
Little Blessings is Tallowood's ministry to couples who are expecting. As you prepare for the birth of your baby, we want to encourage you and provide helpful resources to assist you in the transition of adding a new member to your family. Please let us know if you are expecting a baby. Please submit your information below, or complete a Little Blessings card which you will find at the Preschool Welcome Center of the West Tower or in the third floor lobby near the Grand Room.

February Bible Teaching "Prayer & People at My Church"
On February 5 & 12, preschoolers will learn about prayer. During the rest of the month, preschoolers will learn about things people do at church like singing songs, giving money, helping others, and learning about God and Jesus.
Week of February 5th:
Bible Story: “David Thanked God”
Scripture Reference: I Chronicles 15:1-4, 11-12, 14-28; 16:1-43
Bible Truth: People can thank God.
Life Application: I can thank God.
Week of February 12th:
Bible Story: “Hannah Prayed”
Scripture Reference: I Samuel 1:1-20
Bible Truth: People pray at church
Life Application: I can talk to God (pray) at church.
Week of February 19th:
Bible Story: “The Church Chose Helpers”
Scripture Reference: Acts 6:1-7
Bible Truth: People at church help others.
Life Application: I will think about ways I can help at church.
Week of February 26th:
Bible Story: “Apollos Learned About God”
Scripture Reference: Acts 18:1-4, 11, 18-19, 24-28
Bible Truth: People at church learn about God and Jesus.
Life Application: I will realize that I come to church to learn about God and Jesus.
Mother's Day Out 2011-2012
Mother's Day Out classes meet on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm September 2011 through May 2012. Classes are for children 3 months to 4 years old.

$160.00 per child Non-Tallowood Members
2. Child's Immunization Statement
Monthly Tuition:
$130.00 per child - 1 day
$260.00 per child - 2 days
Fall 2012 Registration will be on March 19 from 10:00 - Noon in the Tallowood Preschool Welcome Center.
Summer Playcation 2012 Registration will be on April 2 from 10:00 - Noon in the Tallowood Preschool Welcome Center.
