Little Blessings
Little Blessings is Tallowood's ministry to couples who are expecting. As you prepare for the birth of your baby, we want to encourage you and provide helpful resources to assist you in the transition of adding a new member to your family. Please let us know if you are expecting a baby. Complete a Little Blessings card which you will find at the Preschool Welcome Center of the West Tower or in the third floor lobby near the Grand Room. You will want to get acquainted with Mary Idiaquez, our Little Blessings Director, who wants to keep in touch with you throughout your pregnancy. March Bible Teaching "God Made the World"
During the first three weeks of March, preschoolers discover that God made the world and everything in it. Through Bible-learning activities, boys and girls experience the natural world and begin to connect God with the world He made.
Week of March 7th:
Bible Story: "God Made a Beautiful World"
Scripture: Genesis 1:1-19
Bible Truth: God made the sun, moon, stars, water, land, and plants.
Life Application: I will learn that God made the world.
Week of March 14th:
Bible Story: "God Made the Animals"
Scripture: Genesis 1:20-25,30-31
Bible Truth: God made fish, birds, and animals.
Life Application: I will discover that God made every kind of fish, bird, and animal.
Week of March 21st:
Bible Story: "God Made People"
Scripture: Genesis 1:26-31; 2:7,22-24, 3:20
Bible Truth: God made people.
Life Application: I will hear that God made people and He made me.
Week of March 28th:
Bible Story: "Hosanna for Jesus"
Scripture: Matthew 21:1-11,14-16
Bible Truth: Children thanked God for Jesus.
Life Application: I can thank God for Jesus.
Mother's Day Out 2009-2010
Mother's Day Out classes meet on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm September 2009 through May 2010. Classes are for children 3 months to 4 years old.
